We planted trees today.
It's hot, nearly summer.
We'll see how it goes.

A lizard smells the water.

Is getting out of hand.

In the crack below my window frame.
Home and dry.

Cool and cloudy
Damp, not at all dreary
Jacques and I walk in the garden.

A hundred pots of ground cover
Planted today.
We're putting them to work.

Maples and ground cover
All in place, now.
Hunkering down for winter.
